Last 2007 is quite not a good year for me.. Too many problems.. and it soo painful.. But I know God is in control.. everything does have a purpose.. And this year 2008 is for me =]

Well, I want to leave things behind. I want to moved on. Life still goes on isn’t?

Christmas 2007

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.

Before the Noche Buena, me and my cousins attend the mass at Saint Joseph’s Chapel near our house around 9:30 in the evening. Misa sa pagsalubong sa kapanganakan ni Hesus. It was our first time to celebrate Christmas eve with our cousin Richard, so kakaiba talaga ‘tong paskong 2007. Ang saya!

At Christmas eve, nakagawian na namin at ng mga kalapit bahay namin ang magbigayan at magbahagi ng handa sa isa’t isa, kaya biglang dumami yung handa namin.

I woke up early in the morning to prepare the gifts for the exchange gifts in our Christmas Party. While wrapping, I was watching the life of Jesus Christ, mula ng magpakita ang Anghel kay Maria, hanggang sa maipako si Hesus at muling nabuhay. The film was great, the actors was great also. I remember a scene that touch my heart, isang scene na binubully si Hesus ng ibang mga lalake sa Nazareth, binubugbog na sya pero hindi siya lumalaban hanggang dumating si Maria at nakita nya iyon, hindi nakialam si Maria, sinenyasan niya lang si Hesus na huwag lumaban, nangmakita nya nila na nasa likod nila si Maria, lumalis na lang sila at tinigil ang pagbubugbog kay Hesus. Nang lumapit si Maria, nasabi ni Hesus na “Kung lalaban ako, mauulit lang ng mauulit, maglalaban at maglalaban lang kami, kaya pinili ko ng huwag labanan.. at alam ko na yun ang gusto ng Diyos Ama na gawin ko, bakit ganun ang nakikita ko samantalang ang iba hindi?” at ang scene na kinainisan ko, ay yung pinapipili na kung sino pakakawalan, naiinis ako kasi matapos na mailigtas ni Hesus lahat ng may sakit, pinagkalulo parin siya ng mga tao.

It was so good to watch those kind of film that will remid us how good Jesus was, and how he save us from our sins. =]

After wrapping the gifts, I take a bath and went to my Aunt’s house we’re our Christmas party will be held. The foods and the gifts we’re there, the whole place we’re ready, chairs, sound system and christmas decorations, ang kulang na lang is yung mga magpaparty.. My cousins, aunt’s and uncles.

When all of us our present, syempre it’s time to party!! I was the emcee so I started the party with games, then kainan, sayawan, kulitan, at hindi mawawala ang picture2, tapos kainan ulit. It was all fun, sobrang saya talaga. Makikita yung saya sa mga pictures namin. I was compiling it using movie maker, and was going to upload it at youtube. yeah.

Now, the Dec 25, Christmas day was through but may the spirit of Christmas will always be in our hearts. Merry Christmas!

Prayers

The Fourth mass of Simbang gabi last night is about Elizabeth, wife of Zechariah. Both of them were upright in the sight of God, they are married for years but they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren. Until Angel Gabriel appearred to Zechariah in the temple when he was in duty. The angel of the Lord said to Zechariah that his prayers has been heard: His wife Elizabeth will bear him a son and they will name him John. He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from birth. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink. When Zechariah heard the good news he ask the angel on how can he be sure that it will happen because he is old and his wife is barren. Because of not believing in the words of the angel, Zechariah will be mute until the day that everything happens. Zechariah went out of the temple and unable to speak. After Zechariah’s service in the temple he returned home and found out that his wife is pregnant.

I remembered that when my boyfriend and I broke up, I ask God “Bakit parang baliktad yata yung nangyayari sa prayers ko nung birthday ko..”. In my prayers, I ask him that may we (me and nhell) be happy together and solve all the problems together that we may encounter, i also ask God that my mom will accept him, good health for our family, may my mom be strong in facing her/our problems. But it turn out the other way arround.

Yes, I have sinned. I shouldn’t question Him. I should believe him. That is what I have learned last night. To trust God. To trust God’s plan. He will answer my prayers in the proper time.

God may be delayed in answering our prayers but God ALWAYS answers our prayers.

What makes Christ “unique”

This is my second sunday in Churched So Blessed. I really love being there, I enjoy singing praise songs for God, and listening to the word of God. Before the sermon begun, we need to go around and shake hands with others, and since its my second time, I also go arround and say Hi and good morning to others not like last sunday, all of them go to my place to shake my hand and welcome me, but this time I want to do it for them, go to their place and say hello. =]

Sam lead the praise and worship, and he really has an amazing voice. Basta para kay God, gumaganda ang boses. I really admire his talent in singing. Its good to my ears, for everyones ears i mean.

This sunday, Pastor Adam shares about “What makes Christ Unique”

1. Transcends Time

• We cannot go back to the past or know the future, Only God can.
• God is the Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the End.

One of the examples of Pastor Adam is, Buddism. Buddism is a religion which Buddha is their god, but before Buddha is born, who is their saviour? They don’t have. Another is, Islam which is founded by Muhammad in 1632, but before it? in 1631 who is there saviour? None.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made, without
him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men.”

John 1:1-4

Since the beginning, the creation of the heaven and earth God is there, until now… until the end.

2. Pre-existed

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head and you will strike his heel.”

Genesis 3:15

Everything is God’s plan. Since the beginning He knows what will happen in the future. He knows Eve will commit a sin. We may ask why, Why did God continue his plan? Because He have faith in His plan. “you” is pertaining to the serpent, and the serpent is Satan. It is said in Genesis 3:15 that the serpent will be enemies of eve, and Eve will gave birth hanggang maipanganak si Jesus. Through Jesus, he fights evil at namatay para sa kaligtasan ng lahat, at siya ay muling nabuhay.

God knows everything that may happen.

“In the las days, God says, ‘ I will pour out my spirit on all
people, Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.’

Acts 2:17

“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be
saved.”

3. Fullfilled Prophesies

This part is amazing, how God fullfilled the prophesies.

In Psalms 72:10 [Old Testament] the prophesy was: “The Kings of Tarshish and of distant shores will bring tribute to him; the kings of Sheba and Seba will present him gifts. And this was fullfilled in the New Testament, Matthew 2:1-11. Go get your Bible and see it for yourself. When I read of this One phrase come out to my mouth, “Ang galing!!”

here are the other examples of fullfilled Prophesies:

• Jeremiah 31:15 fullfilled in Matthew 2:16-18
• Zechariah 9:9 —– Luke 19:35-37

GOD HAS BEEN IN THE FUTURE.

Now that Christmas is fastly approaching, it is time for giving, loving and forgiving. To those who already accept God as their Saviour, Christmas is not only on December 25 but everyday. The happiness of Christmas with God is the same with the happiness you’ve had from January to November.

The true essence of Christmas is that the Christ is born.

Pain

Pain is such an uncomfortable feeling that even a tiny amount of it is enough to ruin every enjoyment. It is a feeling that all of us didn’t want to feel but we should keep in mind, that we cannot learn without pain.“The greater your capacity to love, the greater your capacity to feel the pain.”

How can we deal with love if we are afraid to feel the pain? Most people try to hide their pain, just to show that they are strong. But they are wrong, the more you hide the pain, the more weak you become. The more we hide the pain, the more we destroy ourselves. Pain is meant to wake us up. Pain should be a lesson from our mistakes, we should learn from it, and try not to do the same mistake and try not to feel the same pain again.

Pain may last depending on how people handle it. It may last for a day or weeks because people accept the fact that they are hurt and try to learn from it. It may last for years because we’re pretending that we’re okay, we’re pretending that we are strong.

And I used to be one of those people who are prentending to be okay, but i’m not. Me and my boyfriend broke up with no proper communication but with a valid reason, I think. For me, our relationship is perfect, I love him, he loves me. But still we need to go on separate ways. And the fast approaching end of year 2007 is being hard for me not until i realized something. I understand why we need to go on in our own paths, but last sunday I have realized that I’m losing time for God. He give me this pain to let me call him again, to call my attention, to have time for Him.

We should remember that everything has a purpose. If we experience pain or having big problems that somtimes we think we can’t solve, it is just God’s way to let us seek for Him.

Always remember that God would not give us problems we can’t solve. The bigger the problems are, the more we should be proud of ourselves because that is how God sees our strenghts.

Everything is in God’s control…

Angels

Do you believe in angels? Yes, i do believe in angels especially on what had happen to me this day. I have a lot of misfortunes today that i came up writing in this blog of mine about angels.I do believe in angels. For me, Angels do exists. Angels can vary in form, depending on the needs and expectations of those requesting help. They may appear as either male or female, but are neither. They are beings of light energy. They came into being as a link between the Creator and humanity. They bring us messages to guide and protect us.

Angels are those people we considered as our TRUE FRIENDS.

I have my unexpected visitor this morning, my monthly period. It started while i’m on the bus, I have a super mega big stain, and i was really conscious about it, and I’m thankful that I have my friends to the rescue.Special Thanks to the following persons I consider my angels who save my day:

• Gianne Sargento – We know each other by name and face since we were 1st year, second quarter but we have only the chance to really get to know each other this term. I really saw the kindness inside her kahit madalas tinatarayan at sinusungitan ako. And this day I proved that she is really a good friend, she lend me her jacket to cover the stain, then after the exams she ask me why I didn’t go home yet and i told her the reason is because of the stain, I will wait to get dark first before i go home so no one will notice the stain and she said that I can take home her jacket and return it next enrollment.
• Christina Agapito – I texted her about what had happen to me and he immediately reply and says that i should relax and she will bought me a sanitary napkin. Instead of reviewing in her exams, she accompany me to the clinic and ask for a liquid that can remove the stain, it is call hydrogen something..
• Jamesyl Dayo – she always ask me if I’m okay..
• Kathy Santos – she offer me her help..

Your day may turn out with a great mess but God still show his love for us through our friends, our Angels in disguise..

Angels are those souls who from the beginning of creation never lost contact with the God, never had physical lives, and seek only to fulfill the will of God.

Trivia:

1. The word angel actually comes from th Greek word aggelos, which means “messenger.”
2. Sometimes, the Bible describe angels as:

• ordinary people who carry messages (Job 1:14; Luke 7:24; 9:52)
• Prophets (Isaiah 42:19; Malachi 3:1)
• Priests (Malachi 2:7)
• Church leaders (Rev 1:20)
• But it usually describes the whole range of SPIRITS whom God has created, including both good and evil angels, and special categories such as cherubim, seraphim, and the archangel.

Mostly in movies we see angels as a cute little babies with wings, But Angels in the Bible never appear as cute, chubby infants! They are always full-grown adults. When people in the Bible saw an angel, their typical response was to fall on their faces in fear and awe, not to reach out and tickle an adorable baby.

How do angels compare to human beings?

• They are stronger than man, but not omnipotent (Psalm 103:20; 2 Peter 2:11).
• They are greater than man in knowledge, but not omniscient (2 Samuel 14:20; Matthew 24:36).
• They are more noble than man, but not omnipresent (Daniel 9:21-23, 10:10-14).

Do all angels are good? No, they’re not. As we all know, Satan is also an angel. The Bible (according to my research) classify angels into two, ELECT or HOLY . All angels were originally holy, enjoying the presence of God and the environment of heaven. Other angels oppose God under the leadership of Satan and we often call them as demons.

Conclusion?

Angels as human or as a spirit, God sends them to guide and protect us, and God often uses angels as His means of answering our prayers.

Follow your DREAMS

“All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by NIGHT in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was VANITY; but the dreamers of the DAY are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it POSSIBLE.“

The most common words people used to say if somebody says something he wants to have, something that they want to be, in a situation that we may think it is impossible, is “Are you dreaming?”.

There’s nothing wrong with dreaming, as long us you have the motivation to make those dreams come true. Patience, Perseverance, and Prayer is your key to make your dreams come true, with that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

According to Joseph Addison, “If you dream success in life, make perseverance your bosom friend, experience your wise counselor, caution your elder brother, and hope your guardian genius.”

But always keep in mind that, the twin of succes is failure. Failures do what is tension relieving, while winners do what is goal achieving. We should not be afraid to fail, anyone can fail. The public admires the man who has enough confidence in himself to take a chance. These chances are the main things after all. The man who tries to succeed must expect to be criticized. Nothing important was ever done but the greater number consulted previously doubted the possibility. Success is the accomplishment of that which most people think can’t be done. We need to do is to believe in our strenghts, do the best we can, take chances and let God do the rest.

And always remember this, That the greatest success we can have is to be able to spend our life in God’s way.

My dreams?

• To tour the world.
• To spread the word of God and to continue living in His will.
• To be an IT Profesional with a huge earnings

Why do I want to have a huge salary/earnings?

• To be able to give my children [someday] the proper education, all their needs and some of their wants.
• To be able to build a good house for my family and for my parents [as what I promised ]
• To be able to help the people who are deeply in need.
• To be able to establish a charity for the street children.

I don’t dream to be the President of the Philippines, I just want to help.

Now i have shared my dreams.. What’s yours? If you think you don’t have one, start dreaming..

A fearless Christian

Last wednesday, as I ride a jeepney going home, i met Sam, my friend/classmate in high school. We exchange celphone numbers and from then on, we always texting ech other. He invited me to attend the mass with him in their church. Churched So Blessed.

At 9:15 this morning, i arrive at their church and Sam introduce me to them, I’ve watched them practicing the songs and just in their practice, I really feel that I am welcome and feel happiness inside me. I just say to myself, “God, why did Sam didn’t invite me before?, I wished i was attending this mass before..” The praise and worship was great, the Sermon has really enlighten my soul, I gain new friends and I know more about God. I promised to myself and to them that I will attend next sunday.

Deuteronomy 1:26-31

In this verse, tells us the Characteristics of a Fearless Christian.

1. Holds on to God’s plan

” You take care of instructions, I take care of the obstructions.”

Those phrase stick to me mind us the pastor told us, It means the we, children of God will follow His will, His plan and God will to the rest, God will protect us, God will embrace us with His guidance.

2. Accomplishes God’s purpose.

“You grumbled in your tents and said, The Lord hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the amorites to destroy us.”

Deuteronomy 1:27

• Fears brings out our worst.

• It ushers us in complaining, distrust, finger pointing and despair.

• Fear is an army of Giants, for it multiplies one into many.

3. Encourages God’s people.

“Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say, ‘The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the anakites there’ “

Deuteronomy 1:28

• Discouragement is contagious.

• Fear causes us to drain away the vitality of people we care from.

• Not just for a week or a month but for a generation.

“Fear is most infectious that any disease you can name”

4. Believes God promises.

“The I said to you, ‘Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. The Lord your God, who is GOING BEFORE YOU, will FIGHT FOR YOU, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, and in the desert. There saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached the place.’ “

Deuteronomy 1:28

God is so good.

Alas!

The busy week is over. Yipee!! After finals in English and Rizal, after a headache and sleepless nights in CISCO case study, after the defense in Cisco and System Analysis and Design, it is time for me to unwind. I can now breathed without thinking of the many projects i/we need to do. Yehey!! )

All i need to worry is about our final exam in numerical methods, System Analysis and Design, and for Cisco… And hope I will receive a good outcome for those subjects.

Last Friday, is our last meeting in Rizal and we have our Final exam. When I think of that day is being the last day, i feel sad. Rizal’s class is a very memorable class for all of us, a class where we won’t just listen to our professors lecture about the life and works of rizal, but in this class we are able to know each other, we are able to share our thoughts to everyone. And we really enjoy staying in one room altogether in one and a half our, 3 times a week. I will miss Maam Arguelles, my two seatmates Eziel and Russel, My blockmates marlon, wataru, alwyn and jan, My friend whom we always share what we’ve read in the book and discuss about it before the start of our class, June solas. And i will all miss my classmates. I hope in some other class next term, next year we have the chance to be classmates again.

Problemssssss.

Patience, Forgiveness and Understanding. That’s what I need right now. Ewan ko ba, sunod sunod mga problema na binabato sa akin ngayon. Ganun na ba ako kalakas para maharapin lahat? O di kaya maxado ko lang pinapalaki ang situasyon, maliit n bagay na hindi ko naman dapat problemahin.

Problema sa kaibigan, na ang gusto ko lang is mailayo siya sa masama pero ako pa yung napasama. Siguro nga pakialamera ako gaya ng sinasabi nya, pero masama bang makialam sa kaibigan mo na alam mong mapapasama? masama bang magpakita ng concern sa kanya? Nung una ayaw ko talagang makialam dahil gusto ko siya mismo sa sarili nya marealize niya na mali ginagawa nya.. Hindi ko sinasabing perpekto akong tao, pero kahit papaano alam ko kung ano yung tama sa mali.. Nasa edad siya kung saan madali xang maiimpluwensyahan ng mga kaibigan nya. Nasa sakanya kung yung kaibigan na pipiliin nya ay dadalhin siya sa mabuti at ilalayo sa masama. It is her decision wether to take the right or wrong path. At nandito ako para gabayan siya, pero ano? lumalabas na ako yung “bad”. Pinagpalit niya yung friendship namin sa bagong tao na tinuturing niyang friends ngayon? Na tinuturuan xa kung pano uminom? sa ganung edad? Na tinuturuan siyang uamgahin sa daan? sa ganung edad? Na halos muntik na xang marape nung bf nya? pinagtanggol pa na kesyo lasing daw? Hindi excuse yun. Ngayon susumbatan nya ako na pakialamera ako? hindi ako makikialam kung hindi ako concern sakanya..

Tinatapos mo friendship natin? ok fine! War kung war.  Pero eto lang tandaan mo, Iwan ka man ng mga kinikilala mong friends ngayon, handa pa rin akong tanggapin ka bilang kaibigan ko.

Problema sa tatay. Hindi ko na babanggitin ulit kung ano un. Hinihiling ko po lang Lord, na sana magbago na siya..

Problema sa Kapatid. Na hindi sa lahat ng oras, mabait ako. Nagkataon na mahina mapasensya ko ngayon dahil sa sunod sunod na problema kaya hindi ko kayang palagpasin yung kamalditahan nya. Hello? ako kaya ang ate?

Sorry, alam ko mali ako. Ako yung ate, at ako dapat ang umiintindi. Ang problema lang, sa tuwing papalagpasin ko, mas lalong nawawala respeto niya sa akin bilang ate nya.

Problema sa isa pang kapatid. Anak ng papa ko. Na sana nung simula pa lang hindi ko na tinanggap bilang kapatid ko. Pinapakitaan mo ng maganda, pero iba ibabalik sayo. Na sa tuwing makikita ng mama ko, nasasaktan siya.

Best description: Anak sa labas.

Problema sa Kagrupo. Hindi sa lahat ng oras kaya kong akuin lahat ng gawain, kaya nga group work di ba? hindi ko gawain magreklamo, pero ngayon nagrereklamo ako. Ilang beses na akong napagsabihan na wag magpakabayani dahil ayaw kumilos ng mga kagrupo ko. Nagkataon na hindi madami ang pasensya ko ngayon kaya ako nagrereklamo.

Problema sa Proyekto. Hindi ko alam kung paano magsisimula.

Problema sa Puso. Hanggang ngayon hirap pa rin ako sa situasyon namin ngayon. Gusto kong sabihin sa kanya lahat ng  problema ko para alalayan ako. Pero hindi ko pwedeng gawin.

Problema Ni james. Best friend ko. Problema niya, problema ko rin. Hindi ko magawang sabihin sa kanya na may problema ako kasi ayaw ko ng makidagdag pa.

There’s One thing I realized, Iwan man ako ng lahat. God is still up there, waiting for me to ask for his help. Na sa Kanya ako pwedeng kumuha ng lakas para harapin lahat ng problema. Na handa Siyang makinig at tulungan ako sa mga problema ko… Yun ang gagawin ko ngayon.. Spend more time with HIM. ^_^
